Job Summary
The Principal HR Analytics is responsible for leading the expansion of our existing human resources data reporting and analytics capabilities to support company growth. Builds relationships across human resources functions and a diverse group of stakeholders. Understands our business objectives, leaders and organizational structure and leverages data to drive analytics and insights. As an individual contributor, leads the work of system and subject matter experts across the organization to execute on objectives.
Job Duties
Own key analytics programming, leading design, execution, evaluation, improvements, and updates.
Support the development, integration, and execution of the strategic vision for our HR systems and talent analytics.
Partner with key decision makers to conduct analysis on global trends and action planning specific to evolving set of metrics, including but not limited to attrition, mobility, engagement, development, performance management, talent reviews and succession, and DEI representation.
Apply analytical data expertise as lead for the development and strategic advancement of HR metrics, reports, and dashboards. Utilize benchmarking and best-practice methods to design and continuously improve actionable and proactive metrics and HR key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive forecasting capabilities and facilitate strategic insights that support the Company’s ability to attract, develop and retain its highly diverse and inclusive workforce.
Serve as Molina’s subject matter expert for people analytics and HR process improvement for the organization using analytics platforms, data, and vendors, including optimizing data quality and platform configuration/integration.
Monitor, analyze and evaluate HR system utilization to ensure appropriate and efficient use of applications and support system updates. Make recommendations on enhancement of applications and intelligent automation through augmented technology (conversational AI, extended reality, predictive/prescriptive analytics) that enable efficient delivery and enhance the employee experience and employment journey.
Manage and monitor system HR data, enhancing key data governance activities and processes to strengthen data integrity and security and satisfy compliance requirements including SOX controls and global data privacy.
Provide functional consultation, problem resolution and support in the design and development of specialized human resource queries, reports, and dashboards, utilizing Oracle environment as well as visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau.
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of functional areas, facilitate decision making and issue resolution with all levels of employee from executive to front line, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
Communicate powerfully and succinctly to senior and executive leaders and simplifying the complex; use proven methods to develop resolution to critical issues and broad design decisions.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
10 + years of experience in a HR operations or other HR Center of Excellence, particularly leading technology projects, people analytics programming and process improvement.
Proficient with running people analytics programs using HRIS and other HR systems and vendors; knowledge specifically of Oracle required.
Experience leading complex multi-functional teams to complete objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Excellent data analysis and visualization abilities that can turn heavy data topics into executive action.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to easily overcome barriers to progress.
Diligent and skilled at leading programs and projects in complex environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Highly organized and motivated.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially directed towards cross-organizational communication. Must have the ability to tell the story and gain support needed.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Highly collaborative.
Strong analytical and system analysis capabilities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
- Proficiency with data visualization and other people analytics tools a plus

Pay Range: $79,607.91 - $152,483.8 / ANNUAL
