Talent Acquisition Professional to join our
Environmental Solutions Business group. In this role, you'll be crucial to our mission, delivering full-cycle recruiting solutions for professional hires.
As a Talent Acquisition Professional, you'll join an established recruiting team and hiring manager group to ensure a positive candidate experience while working to fill current openings. We'll rely on you to support recruiting efforts focused on a wide range of roles such as: environmental compliance, permitting, project management, remediation, archeology, and geologist. We'll ask you to utilize your superb sourcing skills, professional cold-calling capabilities, and adaptability to the needs of a larger recruitment team when needed. This role can be based in a Jacobs office, hybrid or 100% remotely, with minimal company travel to attend key meetings as designated by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Collaboration with members of the business unit and management team is a cornerstone of this role, as you align on hiring strategies to identify and attract top talent. Regular communication with hiring managers, understanding their needs, and forming partnerships that lead to successful hires are key aspects of this role. Your responsibilities will span from researching positions, opening and managing requisitions, sourcing, cold calling, phone screening, working with recruitment coordinators to schedule interviews, and negotiating and closing offers. Your strong organizational skills will be used as you manage and track all candidate activity. Responsiveness and the ability to source active and passive candidates quickly and keep the information up to date are crucial!
You'll prepare and deliver presentations highlighting recruiting efforts to large and small groups of people, both to TA and Hiring Manager clients. Here's what you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional recruiting experience managing a requisition workload of professional exempt roles
- 5 years of full-desk recruiting in an Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), or Environmental Services work environment
- Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) - Taleo or Avature preferred
- Knowledge of OFCCP procedures and regulations in the US
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related Business Administration field.
- Previous Sr. level of in-house recruiting experience in environmental services for Fortune 500 size companies
- Previous experience with reporting tools: excel, tableau, Oracle business intel
- Strong planning and organizational skills to successfully manage a high requisition workload ~ 50 reqs & 10-15 hires per month.
