Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) is restoring the Design for Service (DfS) organization to improve vehicle serviceability during Forward Model vehicle Platform, Technology, and Program development. The DfS Training Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining Design for Serviceability training curriculum and delivery to global cross-functional teams.
You'll have...
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience and education
- Key knowledge/experience:
- Strong understanding of automotive service.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proven course development and curriculum building skills.
- Self-starter capable of operating independently with strong time management skills.
- 5+ years training experience.
- Experience and ability to:
- Lead through influence and collaborate across the Enterprise. Use data and customer insights to influence decisions.
Even better, you may have...
- Global experience in working with all regions (Eu, S. America, International Markets, China) a plus

What you'll do...
- Design for Serviceability Training Courses
- Lead development and update/improvements to Design for Serviceability online training courses for North America Design and Release Engineers.
- Establish and maintain positive cross functional working relationships to ensure online courses are accurate and new courses are introduced in a timely manner.
- Evaluate training needs, develop strategy, and deliver cross division Design for Service training globally in various delivery methods (Online, WebEx, In-Person, etc.).
- How Serviceability assessments are conducted within CAD environment.
- How to conduct on vehicle serviceability validation.
- Expand DfS training offerings globally.
- Deliver common and efficient global processes.
- Lead effort to define Global DfS training strategy.
- Support global DfS processes.
- Support development and education of Service Requirements and Digital Pre-Assembly (DPA4) serviceability test methods.
