Objective:
We are looking for someone with experience in the Recruiting/Talent Acquisition field who will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, evaluating, and hiring talent on a weekly basis. In addition, this position will be responsible for tracking and screening potential candidates as well as assisting with on-boarding, also practicing and adjusting hiring strategies for ongoing improvement.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like Indeed and Monster.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media, job fairs and niche professional websites: (Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Likin)
- Familiarity with application tracking systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local and federal laws/rules.
- Good writer and communication skills.
- Team spirit, "can-do" attitude.
Job Duties:
- Create and publish job ads in various portals.
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
- Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Conducting initial phone screens to create shortlist of qualifying candidates.
- Interview candidates in person for a wide range of roles.
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
- Hosting and participate in job fairs and encouraging referrals.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Research and implement new and innovative sourcing tools, technologies, and methods.
- Asset with timely completion of onboarding processes including all ID's and required paperwork for background check, drug screening and security clearance.
- Conducting "Exit Interview".
Job Requirements:
- Bi-Lingual in English & Spanish
- Completion of training in our Avanti Programs.
- Support and supervise the recruiting team.
- Regular communication with Managers to understand specific demand and needs updating them with any recruiting or onboarding.
- Ability to communicate and forecast employee needs based on demand
- Constant walking and interaction with plant employees, managers and Human Resources
- Integrity: make sure we treat all those we interact with fairly and honestly
- Monitor applicant tracking, interviews and retention
- Maintain a respectful relationship with coworkers and managers
- Punctual and reliable; be at work on time every day
