**Job Summary:**
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service and assisting with designing quality benefits plans.
This position pays $23-$27/hr based on interview and experience.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with designing, recommending, and implementing new benefits programs.
- Evaluate and revise internal processes to increase efficiency.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefits processes.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and compliance testing.
- Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files and group benefits database.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
- Assist in designing materials for benefits orientations and open enrollment.
- Educate employees on benefits and available options.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and HRIS systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong planning and priority setting skills to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting benefits programs.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
**Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field.
- Five or more years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience.
**Work Schedule:**
- Must be available between 9am - 2pm or 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, up to 25 hours per week.
**Physical Demands:**
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
