This position is a part-time hybrid, requiring work from home most days, but supporting leaders and employees as needed at stores located in the West and South Metro. The position will be supported in day-to-day HR matters by an Administrative Coordinator. There is opportunity for growth in the organization as we plan to open additional locations in the Metro area in the coming years.
The responsibilities of Human Resources Leader include:
- Help build out a robust Employee-training and development plan, leveraging existing internal and corporate Nothing Bundt Cake resources
- Train and coach leaders at all levels in compliance and management best practices, employee development and performance management
- Assist managers with conflict resolution by identifying, evaluating, and resolving employee relations issues
- Manage HR risk by ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements, providing advice to leaders
- Conduct phone screening prospective employees onboarding (approximately 30% of the position) and handing off prospects to internal employees for further screening and onboarding
- Analyze current recruitment and onboarding processes and provide recommendations for improvement
- Work closely with the Administrative Coordinator to ensure HR processes and documents are compliant
- Provide warm, welcoming and prompt service to applicants and employees (within availability of part-time status)
- Help oversee and customize Nothing Bundt Cakes corporate policies, trainings and standards to store locations
- Ensure compliant and timely recordkeeping, including maintaining personnel files, driving yearly reporting processes and filing requirements (OSHA, EEOC, etc.)
- Support leaders with difficult conversations with team members
- Support safety programs and training
- Compliance, driving policy development and maintenance

Requirements:
- Prior Human Resource leadership position, touching on core HR competencies.
- Professional judgment and excellent boundaries.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies, including Applicant Tracking Systems, payroll software and POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and organized.
HR certification and or related degree a plus.
- Valid drivers’ license and access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to bakery locations on an as needed basis
