Job Summary:
As a member of CenExel’s corporate HR team, the Compensation Analyst will use robust salary analysis tools to analyze and make compensation recommendations for executive, manager, and non-manager level positions. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis and data that support competitive compensation decisions across all levels of the organization. Key responsibilities also include reviewing, updating, and maintaining CenExel’s job description library, ensuring that descriptions accurately reflect the responsibilities, skills, and aptitudes for each position.

This is a remotely based position that may be located anywhere in the continental U.S. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze and interpret salary and total compensation data using salary analysis tools.
- Make compensation recommendations using both salary analysis tools and assessment of regional market competitors.
- Evaluate requisitions and make compensation recommendations for promotions, offers, and market-based adjustments.
- Review salary ranges routinely to ensure internally established ranges align with fluctuating changes in the market.
- Work closely with HR leadership to ensure compensation decisions reflect a careful balance between external and internal pay equity.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws impacting compensation and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to assist with data and reporting related to compensation planning and labor cost management.
- Primary point of contact for compensation related inquiries and salary analysis.
- Assist HR leadership with developing competitive compensation and benefit programs that align with corporate goals and strategy.
- Work closely with HR and Finance in the administration of bonus plans and compensation related to annual performance reviews.
- Create, update, and maintain a comprehensive library of job descriptions for all site and corporate-level positions.
- Evaluates job titles and descriptions to ensure compliance with FLSA classifications.
- Monitors internal compensation structure and compensation decisions to ensure pay equity across the organization.

Education/Experience/Skills:
- Four-year degree in HR, Business, or relevant field.
- Preference for candidates that hold a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
- Oriented and comfortable with using financial data.
- Minimum of two years of prior compensation experience in either a corporate or consulting environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience and proficiency in using compensation analysis tools.
- High attention to detail with an analytic mindset.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Excellent collaboration skills are a must with the ability to work and engage remotely with corporate and site leaders across multiple time zones.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
