The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the system administration of one or more applications within the HR technology portfolio, including maintenance, upgrades, releases, audits, mass changes, permissions, technical documentation, etc. This role executes the full lifecycle of HRIS projects from business requirements documentation (BRD), configuration, testing, deployment, and production support for assigned application. The HRIS Analyst creates reports and queries to meet business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a System Admin for one or more applications in the HR Technology portfolio.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, releases, business processes, etc.
- Gather, assess, and document business requirements and functional specifications for recurring business processes (e.g. Benefits Open Enrollment), configuration changes, new functionality, or reports.
- Lead end-to-end configuration, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support for one or more recurring business processes, configuration changes, or new functionalities.
- Create and maintain application and process workflows and other technical documentation.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain single-source reports and queries.
- Participate in auditing and data cleansing activities to ensure the accuracy and quality of data input and output within assigned application(s).
- Administer Role-Based Permissions and end-user access in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide high-quality and reliable service delivery to HR and Corporate Information Technology on HR Technology related matters.
- Partner with vendors and third-party providers in the support and delivery of HR technology, as needed.
- Develop knowledge of HR practices with a focus on technology through classes, reading, or other mechanisms. Participate in professional groups, meetings, and conferences as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years HR systems Configuration
- Ability to conduct intermediate troubleshooting for product installation and other product issues
- Proficient in UKG Core/payroll or iCIMS required; UKG Onboarding, Benefits Prime, Performance & Coaching, Perceptions/Employee Voice, or Dimensions preferred.
- Experience in Cognos BI preferred.
Additionally, you may have:
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence a plus.
- Well-versed in HR business processes and the employee lifecycle.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
