ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:
- Performs professional assignments and tasks in the administration of the Fidelity Investment Retirement Plan for all eligible employees globally. Oversees all aspects of the 401(k) plan in compliance with the Summary Plan Document and applicable laws, including: 5500's, auditing, discrimination testing, funding, corrections, forfeitures, enrollments, withdrawals, hardships, loans, rollovers, contribution changes, organizes and tracks training, troubleshooting and communication regarding the 401 plan and researching and auditing of participant elections. Conducts Service Contract Act (SCA) Health and Welfare (H&W) hourly fringe offset and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for facilitating all aspects of administration of the company 401(k) plan for all employees company-wide.
- Gather, run and interpret plan sponsor 401 reports to include Forfeiture, Loans Risking Default, Hardship, Missing Enrollment Information, Contributions, Demographics, Loan Start/Stop, Contribution Changes and Lost Participants.
- Research and audit issues and take appropriate actions for corrections to include calculating missed deductions, missing matches, ineligible contributions, forfeitures, submission of the Voluntary Correction Plan (VCP) to Department of Labor (DOL).
- Determine what actions need to be taken and facilitate implementation to ensure past errors do not continue to occur.
- Overseeing the loan policy and program by ensuring deductions begin and end in timely manner; set up payment schedules for missed payments to be brought up to date; audit suspended loans due to approved leaves of absence; ensure USERRA loan guidelines are followed.
- Audit and balance the employee deductions with the funding files to Fidelity by company (EIN) and all sub plans. . Ensure that the file that goes to Fidelity is accurate and the resulting cash request matches the files.
- Ensure accuracy of any payroll deductions, company match, floor contributions, and outstanding loan payments for employees who transfer from one benefit group to another benefit group.
- Track and audit monthly forfeiture reports from Fidelity. Plan and facilitate spending down the forfeiture funds in adherence with ERISA.
- Determine errors and notify Fidelity of the corrections needed via the required format within the record keeper's system.
- Review the Summary Plan Description (SPD) and Plan Document for accuracy.
- Facilitate required notices in accordance with required timelines.
- Identify gaps in interfaces, reporting or other critical areas and pursue changes. Provide support and guidance to all Vectrus employees, worldwide with troubleshooting, enrollment assistance, payroll deduction inquiries, auto-enrollment, plan questions, rollovers, beneficiaries, QDROS, withdrawal, SCA H&W, acquisition assistance, etc.
- Budget, manage, and facilitate the payment of invoices for outside counsel, auditors, and record keepers out of the ERISA budget.
- Assist with other duties as required: Contract phase-ins, contract phase-outs, additional audit requests, finance and treasury inquiries. Maintain Correction log for any financial corrections to the 401 plan.
- Track all transfers for changes in benefit provisions under the plan.
- Monitor and ensure all employees company-wide are placed in the correct designation to ensure proper benefits under the plan.
- Locate missing 401 participants through several steps of investigation by calling last known phone numbers, next of kin and emergency contacts listed in file, web searches and IRS requests.
- Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
- Balance and track all funding based on Vectrus company bank accounts in Treasury's designated system.
- Monitor sensitive financial data in a fast-paced, open high traffic area.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained may be substituted, if degree is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum four (4) years experience administering employee benefit plans in the health and welfare area or payroll experience.
- Familiarity with ERISA, IRS rules regarding 401 plans, USERRA and related state and federal regulations required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience:
- Familiarity with Service Contract Act (SCA) helpful.
- Knowledge of Infinium, PowerPoint, UltiPro (UKG), and Kyriba preferred.

- The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
- USD $ 60,000 – 95,000
- Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to the variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
